SELF HELP RAFFLE.
THE EXCITING NEW WAY FOR CLUBS AND GROUPS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THEIR OWN GROUP ACCOUNT.
President Maureen Maltby & the Members of the Rotary Club of Birtley wish to thank all the groups who took part in the SELF HELP RAFFLE for 2011. As a first time attempt the Club is able to inform everyone that thanks to the efforts of the community in excess of seven thousand pounds was raised for their own groups charities. The event was so successful that it is hoped it will be repeated next year, and having completed the initial year to gain experience it is hoped to be an even better fund raiser for all groups wishing to be involved.
May I take this opportunity to thank not only the Group Members but all those who bought tickets making it such a success, Our special thanks must go to the generous prize donations from IT Computers and 4Power, along with all of the local contributers, May we extend our sincere thanks to everyone, along with our Best Wishes for the Christmas and New Years Fesivities.
