The main event is a meeting for dinner, once a week on a Wednesday at the Ravensworth, 6.15p.m. This is when we come up with the ideas to raise funds, talk them over and set about making the projects a reality. The meeting and the meal are usually finished before eight but sometimes a few of us will hang back for the fellowship.

We have a discerning member who often searches out venues where we can all go to for a meal and enjoy a social evening of fellowship with partners and friends, these can range from the Durham University Catering department to a weekend in Scotland (or on one occasion,) a visit for a week to a founder members home in Spain.

There is also an annual dinner dance to give the ladies a chance to wear their best dresses and the men to air their dinner suits, on that occasion we are usually joined by members of several other clubs and it's usually a great night for everyone.
