Events

The main event is a meeting for dinner, once a week on a Wednesday at the Ravensworth, 6.15p.m. for 6 .30.p.m. This is when we come up with the ideas to raise funds, talk them over and set about making the projects a reality. The meeting and the meal are usually finished before eight but sometimes a few of us will hang back for the fellowship.

We have a discerning member who often searches out venues where we can all go to for a meal and enjoy a social evening of fellowship with partners and friends, these can range from the Durham University Catering department to a weekend in Scotland (or on one occasion,) a visit for a week to a founder members home in Spain.

There is also an annual dinner dance to give the ladies a chance to wear their best dresses and the men to air their dinner suits, on that occasion we are usually joined by members of several other clubs and it's usually a great night for everyone.

To remind club members (and any interested parties) of what is already arranged for the coming months this events page will line them up in order of date.
