You will find Rotary to be a global network of community volunteers, all members are business and professional leaders who provide humanitarian service, they encourage high ethical standards, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.
There are approx; 1.2 million members in at least 36,000 Rotary Clubs around the world. All of them helping to address such critical issues as poverty, health, hunger, illiteracy and the environment.
Being a member means being welcomed into any club in the world wherever you travel.
They are young, old, male and female from professional and service organisations who would like to think they are putting something back into the community. Belonging to a Rotary Club gives men and women an enjoyable and organised way to make a worthwhile contribution to their community.
By using their skills and expertise globally, members also enhance their professional network, career development and cross cultural understanding. You will become one of a world wide family of friends not only helping with many projects but enriching your own social life in the process.
